Henry Survival Rifle (AR-7)

So my Henry Ar-7 Rifle will misfire alot. How do you check to see if its because of a whacked out firing pin? It has been dry fired. (Bolt doesn't lock back when mag is empty) Is this something one could fix themselves?

I had the same problem. Remove the firing pin and elongate the hole. It will allow the pin to travel farther and hit harder. Or just give me $150 for mine. Still in the original box.
