I have a 22 conversion on my G30 for cheap practice. Someone tried to put on the 22 conversion and now the rail is jammed. Does anyone know how I can take it apart.

Hope it works or I'll just have a G21 left

Alternatively, try sticking it in a vise with rubber inserts. Keep the barrel pointed away from yourself. :D

I added new pics. Should I still use a hammer?

I can't tell but has the trigger been pulled prior to removing it?

If the rail is pushed forward the trigger locks up. If I pull it back in the locked position it can be reset. The metal slide on top is sticking when pushed forward. Should I break it off and buy a new one later or just hammer the whole unit forward and off? How do I make sure the release/lock on side is in position to be properly pulled out?

I'd take it to a Glock armorer (not sure if anyone here is one). Also, try the Glocktalk forum - http://glocktalk.com/index.php?

I'm a Glock Certified Armorer. I'd be happy to take a look at it for you. Shoot me a PM if you need me.

Thanks everyone for your help. Fixed and back working.

Can you elaborate on how you fixed this Problem so the rest of us can avoid this Situation?

I'm planning on getting a Conversion for My G22.

Thanks

Was that a Ciener or Advantage arms conversion? I have an AA ordered and they sounded pretty good.
