On occasion I notice the round jammed right at the projectile in the feed ramp-Its a colt 223 upper w/24in bull barrel w/freefloat tube.Tightened barrel well and made sure bolt and gas tuge alighnment is well.Noticed sharp edges at feed ramps, was wondering if polishing ramp edges would help?.also on occasion bolt seems to stick at locking lugs. I am using reloads which I have trimmed sized and seated meticulusly.

Is the gas key tight?

Polishing the feed ramps slowly & carefully may help. Use great caution if you apply a Dremel.

Tired diofferent magazines? The feed lips on Al AR margs are really easy to bend out of spec and cause misfeads like you are seeing.

Polishing the feed ramps fixed mine of the same problem. If you wait long enough it will smooth itself out too.

What brand of barrel are you shooting? I take it you headspaced it to match the bolt you're using??

And sounds like a M4 feed ramp miss match

Which one looks like what you have assembled?
