I have a Ruger SB .44 mag with a 71/2 inch barrel, I was wondering if there is a way to put a shorter barrel on it, or a longer barrel on it. Just curious.. Thanks..Matt

You can have a local gunsmith put on a different barrel, or you can send it back to the factory.
I would take the old barrel off before sending it. It is threaded

My "skills" are very lacking, I have 0 finese, so I would be having someone else do it. :) Thanks a ton, I thought of it at work today, and the gun was at home, so I wasnt sure if it was possible. Thanks a million..Matt

I would if i could, but it was a gift from my father in law, and he is really weird about gifts... When he kicks off, then I can... Of course when he does, I get a whole bunch more to do whatever I want to with :)
