I have seen it used ok but...it doesn't always match any better than a Sharpie.

I was thinking Sharpie but didn't want to say it. I think I'll try the Aluminum Black. The blemishes are in areas that nobody would notice (except me of course).

i have used birchwood casey aluminum black and it worked real well.

I have better luck with Brownell's Aluma-Hyde than anything else.
