X2. Though it's really just a clarification on the intended meaning all along.

So the next thing I would guess what is the definition of "indirectly"

Courts would decide if they do not write it in to the law. Still a trip to court. Not worth the paper it is on.

After talking to Simmons it is obvious everything ends up in court for the jury to decide. Not enough legislative intent by the law makers. Just to add Simmons has stated the new suggested law on Michigans Firearms Freedom is not worth the paper. I never think of it as crap to defend and my thoughts are they need to add more to stop overzealous police. That is all.

While you're at it, might as well link H.B. 5302 (http://www.legislature.mi.gov/(S(e4frum55gxxrq455ayxwb245))/mileg.aspx?page=getobject&objectname=2009-HB-5302) from Opsommer, as well.

Received the following from my Rep. today (12/15/2009):

Dear Mark,

Thank you for sharing with me your opinions on HB 5302 and HB 5303. As you may know, I co-sponsored both of these bills, and I also believe they adequately address liability questions. Both bills were recently reported out of committee and are awaiting action on the House floor, where I anticipate continuing to support them.

Please do not hesitate to contact me again if I may be of further service to you.

Sincerely,

Dudley Spade
State Representative
57th District

Now we need to crank up the pressure on the legislators to Git R Done!
