For anybody that might be reading, thanks for hosting this event. It was an absolute blast! Thanks to the members of the Rockford Sportsman Club and Grand Rapids Rifle and Pistol Club for hosting the event.
This was only the 2nd time I've done an event similar to this and the last one was approximately a year and a half ago. It ran pretty smoothly and I felt welcomed and invited.
I had a good time, which was helped by the fact that I shot pretty dang good. Armed with my Dan Wesson Commander Bobtail .45 I only was down 2 points for the night (both were on targets shot while moving). I was also pretty fast for a relative newcomer with all of my stages shot at consistent 21secs for 3 shots on 5 targets. I especially enjoyed the darked out stages. That's something you often don't get to practice.
All in all it was a blast and I hope my schedule allows me to make it to further events in the future.
