What is your favorites for varmits.
Mine is a Ruger 77 MKII, stainless/ synthetic in .243 win.
With a 3x9 40mm Bushnell and a trigger job.
I will be updating to a Leoupold scope soon.
I use 55gr. Nosler ballistic tip loaded around 3800fps.
It does a grat job.

Mine is the AR-15 with the 24" bull barrel upper. Got a Tasco Custom Shop, 8-40x56, 30mm tube on it.

A simple bolt action would work well, but the AR definitely has the cool factor!

Woodchucks hit with a .223 ballistic tip don't stand a chance.

Years ago I bought some 80 grain accelerator rounds for my Ruger 77R 30-06, but they couldn't hold any type of pattern.

A 120mm cannon?

Awww, shucks.... Give the flea infested mangy vermin a sporting chance. Besides, with a cannon you can't pat yourself on the back and have bragging rights for a well placed 350 yard shot!

Browning A-bolt, with laminated thumbhole stock, and BOSS system in 22-250. 50mm 4.5x14 Leoupold with side focus. I liked this gun so much I tried to find one in 308 but they stopped making the 308 model. Very accurate and the thumbhole stock seems to make the rifle hold tight to the shoulder. The optics are amazing for clarity and light gathering abilities.

Marlin 22WMR loaded with CCI Maxi Mag +V hollowpoints. Good for about 150 yards (beyond that you can bother them to death).

I've got the same as you Renegade but mine it the varmint/target variant and the composite wood stocks. I dare say that 28"bbl adds a few fps to my Ballistic tips... though I've always been a fan of the mid-weight BBs.

My best group measures out with a micrometer to about 1/3"moa. Figured that was about the best I could do and don't worry about such things anymore. No complaints on accuracy with any bullet/load I run through it.

Ever take a mis-step in the woods with a 13lb rifle strapped over your shoulder and whack yourself in the back of the head? You'll see stars before it gets dark out!

Hey Ryder, I,ve got one of those in 223. Shoot 40g v-max at about 3800 fps (don't try this at home kids). A little more than a 1/2 inch... at 200 yards. The boys with the Cryo/ brake/ etc big money rigs were stunned.
If you put one right between their front teeth, their eyes bulge out.
