Anyone have any land that is available for Pheasant hunting? State land is overhunted and underpopulated with birds.
Will travel all over the state for a good hunt.
Tell me about it!
Spent all season on state land, pheasant hunting.
Was excited too, because they had planted a corn/sunflower field. Firgured I'd have to beat them off with a stick!
After a LARGE number of days hunting (no dog) I heard 0 and saw 1.
Although I DID almost get run over by a buck! :P

Between the coyotes, skunks, racoons and the red tail hawks, I'm surprised there are any left, but I've spotted quite a few just recently in the fields. Snowy backdrop helps to pick them out.
Maybe Michigan pheasant hunters just need to pick up a good varmint rifle to even up the odds a bit!

And I will bet that you would know where a Michigan pheasant hunter could pick up a good varmit rifle.
