Does anyone here shoot trap at WSC?

My wife and I are looking to get into Trap shooting and since WSC is close and my wife has gone there for the WWOW event so she likes that place.

Im looking for someone to help us get started out there on a Sunday, I believe that is the Open to Public time for Trap.

So if you shoot trap there and are willing to help out some beginners let me know. I do have a O/U that I bought so that my wife and I could try it out and see if it is for us.

Skeet and trap shoots are open to the public nearly every Sunday at Washtenaw Sportsmans Club. Public trap starts at 11 AM. See WSC's events schedule for particular dates. http://www.washtenawsportsmansclub.org/events/
Go to the trap house at WSC and introduce yourselves as beginners and mention that your wife shot here during a WWOW event. The trap shooters are a friendly bunch and will help you both get oriented and started shooting trap.

By the way, the information for the 2010 WWOW event is posted on WSC's web site.

Ask for Scott or Frank.. They will accompany you as you shoot from station to station, and they will give you valuable hints and safety tips.. The crowd there is very friendly, professional, and courtious. Have fun.. I will stop for a round of trap next Sunday after I finish shooting steel plates and bowling pins around 12:30 pm.

I hope to be out to WSC on Sunday. Will bring my gun and gear I have so far and hope to shoot a round or two.

Lindsey - Yes my wife received the WWOW notice in the mail. She has gone the last few years and loves it. :)
