I'm considering using Bright Sights gun sight paint . Does anybody feel that there any advantages to using it? I just figured, for the money, it might be worth trying, but I don't want to ruin my sights if it won't come back off(in case I'm not pleased with the results). Any pros/cons would be appreciated.

I've user Bright Sights sight paint ( the non-glow type). I've used it to change the color of my front dot and to "touch up" the rear sight for a better sight picture. I used the white to outline the rear notch on my Sig. The first attempt didn't turn out to my liking so I just let it dry and scraped it off. I haven't needed to remove from the front dot so I don't know how easy that would be. The kit I got came with a little bottle of cleaner (alcohol I think). I make sure to throughly clean the area before applying the paint. I find it to be very durable.

Overall I like it, and would recommend it to anyone wishing to paint their sights.
