Info on Colt Woodsman 22LR pistols

I could use some help trying to figure out what one may be worth. I have seen them from $600 to $2000. I know that the condition is very important, but I need to know is what the model and series typically run. I have tried to do a little research,but I think I am more confused now. Hopefully one you great gents and ladies may be able to put it into laymens terms for me.

Yeah I saw it. But what I have seen on Gunbroker and guns america it doesn't seem to make since why some are worth so much more then another. They could be in the same series. I don't know if it is a paticular serial number run that the collectors like.
