Any local vendors (SE Mich) for a shooting jacket? I am just getting back into prone shooting competitions and my old jacket "shrunk".

Mark,

Check out Cabela's - maybe in their Shooting Catelog.

I know what you mean when you say that your clothes shrink all the time.
:(

I don't know about local stores, but you could try www.shootingmall.com.

Unfortunatly nope they do not have them. Creedmore does in their catalog. But I would like to try a few out first. See what is comfortable before dropping a few hundred $$

The jacket shown on the Shooting Mall page is manufactured by G.P. Maes Industries. They manufacture these for the USMC. About three years ago I bought one for my son. I dealt with them direct, but it looks like they no longer sell retail to the public.

Thats where I shoot and it does help. Had one of the old ones from the marine corps with the pull tight hooks. Really helps control the breathing and movement.

I've seem limited styles at Dunham's. Not bad and not expensive. Might be a good place to start.

I don't know where locally but http://www.champchoice.com/ should have everything you want in apparel and accessories.

I don't know of any local shops that carry products geared for competitive hi-power shooters.
The closest is down in Columbus, Ohio. Not a bad day trip and they carry ONLY competition gear and guns. I'll try to remember the name.

I saw a couple at Bass Pro at Great Lakes Crossing when I was there last week. The shotgun shooting type jackets with the padded shoulder. You may want to give them a jingle or check their web site.
