Depending on condition $1,100-1,500 I would say.

With the deluge of excellent spec AR makers currently in the market Colts have fallen in value over the past several years. It was standard that Colts would fetch between 50 and 100 % more than any other maker. But that was when the choices were few and the ban was on, no so today. In fact SP, green or blue lable guns might get 10 to 15% more but only if one is into collecting. Most are into shooting and want the latest and greatest. I have one SP-1 and I bought it for well under $900.

Good Luck.

$800-$1000.

Expired AWB and flooding of the AR market plus direction of current fads killed their value.

I took a bath on a couple of those. I traded one of my Ford Rangers for one COLT during the ban and then bought another M4 style one with a fix carry handle for like $2200.00, again during the ban.

I think I for like $800~1000'ish per rifle. :(

The ban expiring killed the price and the flood of tacti-cool stuff from LMT, Danial Defense, LaRue, etc took over the market. I don't know anyone really own bothers with COLT anymore outside of collectors and people who have it stuck in there heads COLT's still the best.

In fact, if you hunt, you can find modern COLT m4 style rifles for the same or even less when on sale then some of the LMT, Bushmaster, RRA stuff. I saw some COLT MIL/LE style M4's for $895.00 once, my local shop wants more for a RRA or a Bushmaster by almost $100.00 dollars.

It's the clip that brings the value down on a Colt.

If its an original SP-1 circa 1960s in good condition, I know you can still get the price I said above. We're not talking about a Leo Colt 69xx here, we're talking about the original SP-1s!

Seen a Colt SP 1 on a table at a gun show last week end, the guy was asking $875.00, it looked like it had never been fired.
