Looking for help on pricing a Savage model 24 in .223 Rem/.20 gauge. Looked a bit online and found a HUGE array of prices on these guns, and wasn't able to find much with my specific setup...seems most the .223 models are running a 12 gauge instead of 20.

In either event, overall the rifle is good, .223 bore is slightly pitted but still shiny, 20 gauge barrel is good, though. Small amount of rust around the rear sight dovetail. Otherwise looks clean. Can hopefully get pics up tomorrow.

Anyone have a rough idea on price?

You should pull $250.00/$300.00 on it. Still a well used rifle in some parts of the country.

i have the 30-30 over 20guage version. i had it appraised @ $300 to a normal shooter, but they said a private collector would probably pay more. the way i figure it is, something is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it.

Based on others ive seen in local gunshops...250 is about right id say. Sounds like a fine rifle. That setup could be pretty mean on coyotes man.
