I have a Winchester 94 30-30 I am thinking about selling and was wondering what would be a good asking price. I dated the serial number and it dates to very early 1964. The bluing on the barrel is in good shape and the receiver has a patina/ruby type finish. It has a large loop lever and I also have a small loop lever for it as well. The furniture is in good shape and it shoots very well.

Thanks for your help, Jeremy

Go to www.gunbroker.com and see what they are SELLING for, not what they are asking.

Jeremy,

I know that 64 was a pivotal year for the Win 94s, as that is when the 94 went to the cheap side with a stamped internal feed lever and hollow role pins holding things together. Make sure that these pieces are solid steel and it should be valued in the $500-600 range if in good condition as you say. If it is indeed the cheapo version expect to sell it for around half that. I too have a 94, but mine is a '59 and it is invaluable as it is a family keepsake, but I was looking into the value just to see what I had.
