if you dont find anything....look up the HAP program. It allows hunters to hunt on private land that is prearranged with the land owners. in other words, the owner gets paid by the state to let you hunt there. I have done it a few years in ionia county. there is plenty of property, and most of time, nobody really knows about these places!!

Jake, if you go on the DNR website and do a search for the HAP program, it will list all the properties available in each county & where they are. I looked at a couple of them last year.
