Hard to tell much from the picture. Best guess is a chopped, early Mauser98 action in a WWII era chopped stock. Could be 7mm, 7.65mm, or 7.92 caliber. If the bore is decent, someone might pay $150 as a beater/loaner deer rifle.

Swedish-6.5x55. could be a m/94 but it looks to be a converted type 1 m/38. if its a 38 the barrel should be a little over 23 inches. the type 1 will have a strait bolt unlike the type II 38 with a bent bolt. look at the rear sight does it elevate from front to rear or rear to front, it might also have a micro-meter rear sight. there are allot of could haves and i would need better pics and/or #s to pin it down.

can you post a bigger picture?

As mentioned the stock is chopped, do the numbers otherwise match?

Is the stock in nice shape.

What caliber is it?

With out knowing he above, the chopping the barrel and stock ruins most collector value (though maybe it was put together from loose parts on its own, and was never worth anything anyways ... in which case no loss, as a $600 gun was not ruined, and pile of parts was turned into a legit working gun)

Good working but modest custom sporters in 8mm, 30-06, .308 can fetch $250
