There is a place that offers training on fenton rd. at 12th street.
I'll have to go over there and talk to them!

I took a class at The Weaponery Shop In Millington.
(989)871-2687 I was very impressed with the class.

I spent a week looking down there and got very turn off.
when all I could find were dumps at very high prices.
And I have way to much stuff to stick an a apartment.
My wife's company tried to rush her in there, So she turn down the promotion.
She is going to have to except the next one which will be at anytime.
I'm praying every night it will be T.C. Bay or Caddilac, MI.
She did tell them when she hired in no Detriot or Ohio.
So they let her slide on the canton, without to much trouble.

Edited to add:
We have owned this place outright for 8 years and it's 1145sqft.
Canton it self looks like a very nice area but 1500-2500 a month is more then I can afford.
I guess it was sticker shock to me.
I looked at smaller homes that I thought were just to high.
Except I did ask one woman if the house she was pushing had been condemd, she got mad at me. But I was serious!!!!!!
Please dont flame me for this!

I took my class at the Shiawassee Dog and Gun club, it was offered by a good bunch of people, you can find info in their classes at www.thefiringlinellc.com.

It was a good class (my opinion), and I would recommend them.

The Shiawassee Dog and Gun Club is in Owosso, about a 20-25 min drive straight west on M-21 from Flint.

Thx Brian !

I told them to get their packets and there should be recommended trainers in the packet.

told them about some of the local's down in the metro area. I know where they take the training SHOULDN'T matter, but just don't know if they would get static about using someone that the local board up there wasn't familiar with

The Place at Fenton rd and 12th street is Sentinal Security, I took my training through them 2 years ago and felt they did a good thorough job. Most associated with them are current or retired officers from the area and offer a lot of local information that I found really helpful, I know a couple of them professionally and they are good guys. If you have any specific questions or would like help contacting them please feel free to email me at :

Good luck!!
