Chief Okemos John C. Garand Match
Date of Match: May 8th, 2004

Location and directions to range: From I-96, take exit #98A(South on Lansing Rd). At the first traffic signal,(Canal Rd), turn left. Go south on Canal Rd. 1 mile to Windsor Hwy. Turn right on Windsor Rd. Go 1 1/2 miles to Gunnell Rd. Turn left onto Gunnell. go to end of pavement (1 mile) and club entrance is right there.
Competition open to: Any not prohibited to own or operate firearms. All competitors must have a notarized "Eligibility Affidavit and Liability Agreement" on file at the Okemos Sportsman Club. These forms are available by accessing the "forms" link on the CMP web-site which is WWW.odcmp.com/ or phone by 419-635-2141.
Entry fee: $25.00.........a $10 dollar registration fee is required. Mail your registration fee of $10,(a check made out to the Chief Okemos Sportsman Club), to Steve Larson, 2036 Hayes St., Marne, Michigan 49435.
Registration: Begins at 8am, to be finalized by 9am
Firing starts: 9am
Rules: CMP Competition Rules
Match course: John C. Garand Course B – 50 Round match
Awards: 5 dollars from each entry will be put in the "pot", to be awarded to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners.
General information: Food available for a modest fee. Restrooms are located in the clubhouse. Chief Okemos Sportsman Club, and the Great Lakes Shooting Sportsman Association Camp Perry Shooting Team will be the beneficiaries of the proceeds.
