Anyone know how long renewals are taking in Genesee Cty.?

I went and applied for renewal today, they said should take about 6 weeks, but times are going to start getting longer because they are getting a lot more renewals all of a sudden, Everything went very easily, everyone was even friendly!!

Do Flint city residents need to go to the City P.D. or do they go to the Sheriffs Dept to get the proccess started?

Since being licensed I have moved into the city. I had the license amended with my new address but I don't remember now which department I used.

I think it can all be done at the county, I am not sure as I do not live in the city, but the county made it all go pretty smoothly and I think you can do it all there, just go to the clerks office, 2nd floor of the courthouse.
