Where can I buy that "camera case" foam-rubber in the Detroit area?

Used to be a place called "Foam World" or "House of Foam" on 16 mile west of Van Dyke. (City of Warren?)
Not sure if they are still there, but if it's faom, they've got it.

Some fabric stores (Jo-ann's, Michael's) also carry foam. Not sure if they have the "egg crate" style.

Apparently, the place I recommended is no longer there.
You might give these guys a try.
They should be close to your neighborhood

Another idea....

You might want to check places that sell "acoustic baffle" material. Some of the stuff I've seen looks just like the "egg crate" foam that goes in gun cases.

I don't have any specific places in mind, but you might try Google.

You might try any large camra shops in the area they can usually order it but it is expensive from them

Thanks, Kurt. Lee's Foam and Fabric in Dearborn carries the "egg-shell" foam in charcoal grey. A sheet that is 82in.x108in. is $65. They will cut if smaller amounts are needed. (+cut fee).

And thanks to all who replied!
