Washington-AP -- Thousands of gun holsters are being recalled because the strap can cause the gun to fire accidentally. The Consumer Product Safety Commission says there have been eight incidents of weapons firing accidentally. One person was hurt.
The Fobus U-S-A Holster Division of First Samco is recalling 32-hundred Fobus G-L-T holsters. They are designed for Series 17 and Series 19 Glock handguns fitted with a laser-sight light.
In the old design, the strap could catch the trigger. The holsters have been redesigned with wider straps and a plastic tip that is too wide to be caught in the trigger guard.
