I know you can use any firearm to qualify for a CCW, but come on, using a Browning Buckmark Target Model is kind-a wimpy. :roll:

Hey Deputy said that when my brother took the course.
BUT in my brothers defense he was able to re gain his sights alot faster than me with my woosie .45 and it didnt cost him 40 more bucks.
but it was wimpy LOL :lol:

I dont know about that!!!

I only owned a Ruger Redhawk (44 mag) and a ruger markII ...not wanting to get all busted up from shooting the 44 I opted for the 22.

I can shoot the 44 just fine , I have shot deer open sight at 45 and 25 yards respectively.

Lets face it...the instructors are looking to see if you know how to handle a handgun....it really does not matter what caliber it is.

Besides we had to shoot at 25 yards for one of the tests and while I can hit the target (black) at that range the Mark II can shoot the bullseye alot easier and cheaper too!
