I'm going to the Petosky area next month along with 2 fishing buddies. I do not know the area at all. They do not like to go out on the big water, are content with bass and bluegills. Any suggestions for easy access (they're old) fishing sites would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Mike

Thanks JJ. We already picked the HI Express from the AAA tour book. Will check out the pier. I'd like to do some fly fishing but my wife and her sister are worm dunkers and so will I be on this trip.

Black Lake

That lake is hard to fish! My family lives on the lake and all the limestone makes the water nice and clear......but also clear of most of the typical vegetation that fishies like to hide in. But fishies do get large in there.

I've done good on the Bear below the dam between the Fire Station and Police Station , might be getting a early run in soon .

Go creek chubs or some call them suckers in black lake, use a slip knot bobber system where u can choose your depth, big pike in that lake
