Project Appleseed is heading north, to Houghton Lake on June 4-5, 2011. Our event will be held at the Houghton Lake Sportsmen's Club.

We're going to have 18 lanes available for centerfire rifles, 15 for rimfire rifles. Get off the couch, bring the family, learn some great marksmaship skills, and learn some history, too!

Click HERE for a printable flyer

Click HERE to go directly to eventbrite to register.

Feel free to PM me with any questions.

See you on the Appleseed trail!

Good deal! I just signed my wife and I up. We've gone to the Fenton shoot the last 2 years in a row, but this will be a lot closer.

I love my country but I fear my government- Mark Scott r.i.p.

What would George Washington do? I bet he would get off his ass and fight.

Sounds like fun. I may just come out again for this one. I used to stay at a place on Houghton Lake, in Prudenville called Sheas On The Lake. I would stay there again. Anybody know if it's still there ?

Looks like they had a name change:
Google up "Prudenville called Sheas On The Lake"

It was called "Sheas On The Lake" and it was in Prudenville, on Houghton Lake. I did look for it and didn't find anything. That is why I asked.

    7.62,

Sorry I wasn't clearer, and I can't post links yet. The lodge has changed owners and names but is still open. The Google results show it now as East Bay Lakefront Lodge: eastbaylodge.com

    Looks like a great place!

Yeah, that's the place. Thanks ! I've searched for it a few times. If the new owners run it half as well as the old ones, I would still highly recommend it. Always felt more than welcome there. It's a great place summer and winter.

    Sorry for the OT raving
