Oakland County-
Oakland County Sheriff would not sign as I live in Farmington Hills, I was told I had to get the local PD to sign. Local chief did sign, though I had to leave my original forms with him for several days- his office staff explicitly stated that I would not be allowed to make an appointment to meet and have him sign face to face, papers must be left for review. Wait was less than two weeks after I left the forms, all signed.
Has anyone in tried to see if the Washtenaw county sheriff will sign?

That is literally all it said. No closing, no thanks for your inquire, nothing. God I love this township.
Wow, thanks for your work.
Kinda surprised this isn't sticky'd.
I second that! Thanks to everyone for sharing your experiences and doing the work! Post 2 updated to this point!Originally Posted by pyzik
I will just add my input. I've attempted to meet with/see the interim police chief in Milan MI three times. Left my number twice. He's apparently never in and doesn't return calls. My suppressor has been sitting at Chewy's, paid for, for almost 3 months now... guess I'm going to have to go the trust route.
