    Does anyone know if they passed the bill that would eliminate the gun board and give the sheriffs dept the power of issuing the permits ?

    You're thinking of SB59, S-3. That has to do with CPLs not Permits to Purchase/Carry/Possess/Transport.

    And no it hasn't been voted on yet.

    Same way we do it now with long guns and 44 other states do it with handguns.

    Your responsibility ends when you see they're over 18. Their responsibility begins when they take possession. The should know. You shouldn't have to.
