you know.. I know it's hip to bash taurus..

but I have been lucky with their guns..

When I owned their 1911 it worked great for me..

just saying.. if someone wanted a gun.. and all they could have was a taurus.. I would rather them have that then nothing..

Well, I don't know if it's hip or not, but I did find it funny that a guy with S&W as his screen name should like Taurus best.

Strange... I walked into a gun store the other day. And just about the only thing they had left on the shelf were Taurus'.

I meant that you can't get more reliable....glocks are fine. They can be as reliable as HKs but you can't get any more reliable than something that is completely reliable. There fore their reliability is unsurpassed because you can't be more reliable than completely reliable.

+10 for Coco. Every major torture test done on semi auto pistols, show the same thing, HK's keep running longer than any other gun, I think ruger p90 was the only gun ever to survive longer and that was 1 test. Its not a emotional argument it is science with empirical data.

    My favorites are
    Armscor
    Stoeger
    Ruger

Why? Because I have 1 gun of each brand; an Armscor 1911, a Stoeger O/U 12 gauge, and Ruger 30-06 and I can shoot them whenever I want. Favorite brand changes based on which of the three I'm holding at the time.

Not top of the line/sexy stuff, but never had a single issue with any of the three.
