let me know if the muzzle brake works good. is he going to thread it or pin it or glue it? I have seen all of the different styles but I would love to have a cool custom one if possible. I hear the knights or king muzzle brake is the best so something along those lines would probably be the best design.

Also fired my buddys .50 BEO vs rotors off a ram 2500 here is what a 325gr HP did.

Nice .50 hole in first plate.

this is the back of the first rotor it did not punch a whole through it no it took this CHUNK off of the 2nd plate!!!

that my friends is why i want to build one that was a 325 gr HOLLOWPOINT! think of a 500 grain FMJ?? or a 325 gr FMJ lol.

    Ok..

    Something stupid..

    Gas or Piston..

A piston AR 50 would be a beast to handle..

I am curious what would stop you from making this into an AR pistol..

    50 Beowulf

    thoughts?
The Beowulf was made to just swap out on a Mil-spec lower. It uses a standard mil-spec buffer and spring. The cartridge operates at about the same pressures as 5.56 ammo. So the entire lower is standard mil-spec.

This myth is not all true. I use a Magpul CRT collapsible but stock on my Beowulf. It has the extra friction lock and works great with the 50 Beowulf. Solid lock up.
Like you stated about people that shoot it cannot believe the recoil out of the 50 cal.. A bit more than a 5.56. But still manageable.
    Have fun shooting your "Beast".
