    Replacing hunter safety cert.

My dad and I are going snow goose hunting out of state in March. I have my hunter safety cert in my gun safe but my dad took his class in 1973 and cans remember where it is. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

    Thank you
    Vinnie

He doesn't need it. Just have him buy the license on-line and he'll have to affirm that he took it, but that's it.

He can do the same if he buys in person.

Does the state you are going to be hunting require a cert to buy a non resident license or will they issue one if Michigan has issued?

Most states accept Hunter Safety Certs received in other states because the certs are NRA based and everyone gets the same safety certs, just different state-specific game laws and equipment restrictions. Check your hunting location state DNR website for more info.
