    Using a smartphone as an optic

    Stumbled on this. Interesting concept. I wonder if it would be very practical. The zoom on my phone sucks, but may be better stabilized. My Iphone 5 sucks in the cold. Might be a neat toy for the range though.

    I would like to find a video camera that could link to my ipad that I could use at the range. Sure would be a lot better then spotting scope.

    Really interesting. I suspect it's more of a toy than not but none the less got the cool factor.

    Tell me to get my tin foil hat and put it on but the potential for tracking etc concerns me a little.
