    NEW - 32 Days

Received on 2/5/16. This was 32 days after I had my fingerprints taken, and 39 days after I filed my application. Manistee County had to mail my fingerprint receipt to me because of a computer issue at MSP that would not allow them to print the receipt while I waited. The receipt arrived the Wednesday before New Years Eve, so I had to wait until the following Monday to be fingerprinted. I received a white card.

Manistee County has 2 choices for fingerprints. You can go the the sheriffs office, BUT you have to pay your $15.00 fee at the clerks office and get a receipt before you to the sheriffs office. You can also to the Little River Band Of Ottawa Indians Public Safety office off of M22 north of the casino. The fee is also $15.00 I chose the latter option as it was closer. The guy that took my prints was a talker, and a real character. It was an enjoyable experience.
