Project Appleseed is coming back to Bend of the River Conservation Club on May 21-22, 2016. It will be a great weekend of rifle marksmanship and American history.

Project Appleseed teaches field shooting in three positions - prone, seated, and standing. We teach you to shoot accurately with no supports or rests beyond yourself, your rifle, and a shooting sling. (It's not just for keeping your hands free while you walk around with your rifle on your shoulder--it adds stability to your shooting position!) It's a very friendly environment and very adaptable to guests of all ages and experience levels. It's a great place to learn, if you're new to rifle shooting, and a great place to keep learning if you're an experienced shooter.

For more information and links to registration, go to www.appleseedinfo.org . (Or PM me or post up for information!) The event is listed as "Niles, MI"; the club is located just west of Niles, between Niles and Buchanan, MI.

And a great deal just got better: there is a Groupon offer running--adult tickets $40 (rather than $60), youth $14 (rather than $20)!
