The weekend of July 29 & 30 Livingston Gun Club in Brighton, MI is hosting the Great Lakes Classic XIII GSSF match. This is a great match for both beginners with little or no competition experience to the experienced shooters looking for some extra fun. All that is needed is a Glock handgun, 3-4 magazines and a couple of boxes of ammo. All stages start from a low ready position and no holster draws. Glock awards prizes for both performance and on a random draw basis from Certificates for Glock handguns to cash, to Glock merchandise. There is also a team event with separate prizes if you and a few buddies want to get together and shoot as a team and there is a special woman's event for the lady's also.
Registration and more information is online at; http://www.gssfonline.com/ or register at the range the day of the match. Registration opens at 9:00 AM both Saturday and Sunday. Registration closes on Saturday at 3:00 PM and on Sunday at 2:00 PM. The range is located at 2440 Hunter Rd Brighton, MI.
