Can anyone give any insight to this? Expected to pass? Do our current ARs get grandfathered in?

Not under the current balance of power. We'll have to see if Republicans lose any State House seats in November. It's not likely because of the successful gerrymandering they've done, giving them a solid advantage in most state legislature districts. The problem is that they've made all the seats non-competitive, so there's little point in contacting my Democratic rep for example. His election in my district is a sure thing regardless of how he votes because this district has been mapped as one of the throwaway districts by Republicans.

It really doesn't matter, once Hilary & co. get into office private ownership of guns will be eliminated within the next 16 years.
If I were to post whats on my mind, I'd probably catch a ban.
Instead I'll ask. What can we do to make sure this DOES NOT PASS?!?
This is almost certain to not pass. And if it did, there is a good chance it would get tossed in court- or at least parts of it... especially the fourth amendment violation on annual searches.

I'm surprised at how easy it was to follow that 'Take Action' link. Email sent. Funny thing is, the individual that it was just sent to, I met on a construction site Monday, he then took my parking spot too
