    Really nice trainer. .22lr German trainers and conversion kits would make an interesting area of collecting.

    Many are familar with the MAS45 trainers. Less is known about the .22lr MAS36 trainers created by the NAZIs. The germans lined the barrels to .22 caliber and created
    an insert the shape of a 7.5 round with its own firing pin into which a .22lr round was placed. Used to train entire divisions stationed on the Atlantic wall issued captured MAS36s. I'm sure there were MAS36s still in use in the rubble of Beerlin.
