    Gunsmith needed

I am in need of a gunsmith in Metro-Detroit. I am taking my M1 Carbine back to "original" I need to have a barrel band and rear sight installed. The barrel band install requires the front sight to be removed. I would do the work myself but given my work schedule my free time is pretty much non existent for the next 6 months.

I had thought about giving Ken a call. I did my last FFL transfer with him.

Easy with the right tools but still will not be right as you will have the stake mark from the rear sight and the blue on the barrel will be different from the rest of the barrel unless you re-blue, the stock will also have impression marks from the longer band. Nice fun idea however
