UPDATE Woods & Water Weekend September 8,9,10, 2017

    Woods-n-Water September 8,9,10, Imlay City

New volunteer's Please see post # 14 with the layout map

It's that time again! This is a great event in Imlay City, this is a fun event to just come out and bring the family and enjoy the day!

-This is a much different event then Outdoorama -this is an Outdoor sports event that really is outdoors and covers a whole Fairground in Area, it is a lot of fun for the whole family, even if you don't work the show come on out and bring the family & friends!!

Note, this is a handgun carry as you like event for booth workers and attendee's alike, for booth workers feel free to bring a firearm or two to display.

For those that don't know the woods -n- Water weekend is held at the Eastern Michigan Fairgrounds in Imlay City,

Information and map to the MGO booth will be posted as we get closer to the Show date.

We are posting this a bit earlier this year as there are going to be changes in the staffing, so to get this on everybody's radar, We need Volunteers for the MGO booth at the event!

anybody that may have questions about volunteering for this event please just send me a pm.

I have listed the volunteer needs per shift, if you are new to MGO and want to see what it is all about and the shift roster is full, just let me know and we will find a place for you to spend some time at the booth.

This event earns volunteers that are MGO members a shift credit, to be used for the Gun of the year drawing, membership renewal or gift membership.
For new volunteers, if you are not a MGO member, your first shift credit earns you a 1yr. MGO membership.

Set-up will be Thursday September 7th - we are in good shape for volunteer's for this, Thanks to those stepping up.

Just a bump, this event is not as far away as it looks & we still need several volunteers, In particular for set-up ( on Thursday this year ) and a experienced volunteer /s for Friday starting at 3pm before the event opens.

    Report noted!

New this year, set-up day will be Thursday, time TBD, but it will be sometime in the morning.

Trailer needs to be parked in the usual spot, it will be a simplified set-up this year and maybe a little freewheeling.
