    I like it in concept, but sorry, not a big kimber guy.

    If any number or other guys sold that SW, Ruger, Springfield, Dan Wesson, I would like it more.

    Most manufacturers have had ups and downs with quality and design, but it's so fashionable to hate Kimbers, most can't resist following that crowd. Never understood that mentaility. Reminds me of a few years back when everyone was wigging out when anyone mentioned Serpa holsters... as if even letting one in your home would result in certain death.

    It's not hate it's just common sense...the only difference between expensive kimbers and the base models is the decoration, no extra fitting or tightening of tolerances, no part upgrades ...same barrels same MIM parts (I think the gold combat gets a hand fit barrel as it only functional upgrade)

    That pretty much describes the S&W Performance Center revolvers. It's all cosmetics.
