I might try to go. I might be able to find a Turkish Mauser bayonet or cleaning rod for a decent price.
“The path of the warrior is difficult!
We live to protect those who cannot protect themselves!
Honor in serving!
Honor in defending!
Honor in dying for a just cause!”
You'll find junk and more junk and then you'll see it sitting on a table right in front of you, that small item that you lost 20 years ago and couldn't replace until this moment!
Seriously I rarely purchase anything.........but I enjoy the company of people from an era that is fading far to fast.
Not a great show...........but a good one!
Which Turkish bayonet are you looking for?

Well the 1day military show was pretty disappointing. The 2 brothers that run the shows there, blamed a lot of cancellations for the number of tables.
Half of the show ended up being vendors from their regular shows.
There were some worthy displays and some well informed collectors. Had a great conversation with a guy in the back of the hall named Chuck. Very knowledgeable in German WWI & II equipment and arms. He had a very nice numbers matching, M1884/98 Richard A. Herder of Solingen bayonet I will probably regret not buying.
It was worth the $5, just for the chance to see some Military History close to home.
And.......I got home in time to watch the LIONS begin their "Road to the Super Bowl"!
I have a friend who lives in Ann Arbor that goes to this show often. I think it is more recurring that most gun shows. But, usually, there isn't much there and when available, the prices are pretty high. I've never been to this show, however.
Don't change them - leave them as they were...
