It would also eliminate the possibility of flying with your gun in your checked baggage.

This won't stop you from checking your gun. It could put you in jeopardy if you carry while dropping off a loved one.

If I read it correctly, it permits the airport authority to regulate possession of pistols. That does indeed mean, they could fully prohibit pistols and that would stop you from flying with one as well.

They have added to 5o the line: <<(i) Any property owned by a public airport authority.>>

That will prohibit CC on the property, and elsewhere they have prohibited OC in the CC limited areas. That leaves getting the extra class to get the exemption, or don't take a pistol onto the property. Even carry in a container, unloaded, has been adjudicated as "CC".

So, I'm illegally conceal carrying every time I'm walking through the parking lot to my vehicle after a new pistol purchase? I do not have a CPL.

There was a guy busted for carrying down the street with it in a backpack. I personally don't believe that it should be, but the guy got caught up anyway.

This bill in its current form will not survive the house.

That said, MCRGO has some explaining to do. Not that they will as long as clueless people keep giving them money.

The head honcho of the senate may no longer be on their board, but he did receive the "legislature of the year" award from them on multiple occasions.

This bill is utter garbage and a half.
At this point, burning your money does more to support the 2A then giving it to them.
