    Hi Garandsrus:

The rifle is 4 position smallbore 22lr 10 shots each prone, kneeling, sitting, and offhand.

The pistol is 22lr bullseye pistol or its new name precision pistol. 900 point match.

    Regards,
    Cranky

Double Action pistol league. Wednesdays at 6 at Double Action in Madison Heights. Informal, lots of fun, meet nice people; scores are posted and gift cards to the store are awarded. All shooting is timed rapid fire from low ready or draw. Beginner, advanced, and unlimited (optics, recoil compensators, etc.) groups. Normally the 12 weeks start in early January. I've been going for several years.

After the 12 weeks there's a 10-week carry league (3.5 inch barrel length limit). A blast. As little as 3 seconds to draw and pop off 5 shots.

$11 per 50-shot round (for score and prizes); $5 for fun/practice
    All the best,

What type of sights are allowed and which targets (by number) are you using in this rifle league. Besides the rifle and ammo, what other equipment does a competitor need.

    Thank you

    scopes and irons are allowed.
    Target is the B-17
Eye and ear protection are required (available for free at MSU Demmer)
Offhand stand is optional and available for free use at demmer.
Shooting mat and kneeling roll are available free for use at demmer.

    Optional equipment:
Shooting coat (the rattier and nastyer the better for the intimidation factor)
yoga mat under shooting mat for additional padding.
    shooting pants and boots
Sling (any type-not used in offhand but recommended for kneeling, sitting, and prone)
Bipod to hold rifle up between shots or position changes (not used for shooting)
    Hand stop
    Palm Rest
    Shooting glove
spotter and stand (not necessary with a higher power rifle scope).
    additional elbow pads for prone
    butt hook

If you use a rifle scope, make sure it can focus down to 50 foot (a lot of them cannot).

    regards,
    crankster

Is this a postal only match which allows a person to shoot when time permits each week.....on his schedule.
