The tail is wagging the dog!

The congregation needs to tell the pastor to find another church.

Very disappointing.

Getting people to stand up to a pastor, I'm my experience, is a waste of time.

Is the shepherd not responsible for his flock?
The lord helps those who help themselves?

Not recognizing that a group of Christians is a target for multiple groups on top of the regular dangers (domestic situations) is foolish. Did Peter not draw his sword to protect Jesus.

Sounds like if there is a Consistory, or Board of Elders and Deacons, that THEY need to have a talk with that pastor.

Maybe a, "Got Darned it. Listen to us" type of meeting?
Never, under any circumstances, consume a sleeping pill and laxative on the same night.
