National Reciprocity Expected on House Floor Next Week

National Reciprocity for Concealed Carry Expected on House Floor Next Week

    By AWR Hawkins
    Breitbart
    December 2nd. 2017

National reciprocity for concealed carry is expected to be introduced on the House Floor for a vote next week.

    Breitbart News
reported that the legislation received a markup from the House Judiciary Committee on Wednesday. That markup indicated committee members were confident national reciprocity had the momentum to reach the House Floor.

It just may happen this time. I'm just skeptical of getting what we asked for from those maroons in DC.

Great, the article is accompanied by a picture of an idiot reverse carrying a single action. Sigh...

Closer than we've been, but I'm thinking it may be a struggle in the Senate.

Saw an interview the other day where one of the more moderate Sen's assured the public & the Dem's in Congress that this bill would not force any state to do anything. He said if it's illegal to carry a concealed pistol in NY in Times Square, it would be illegal for non residents also. Emphasized this was to prevent law abiding citizens from getting pinched for doing NOTHING wrong. Sounds good to me & I still wouldn't spend a dime or an extra minute in Maryland or any of those other states.

Hey I want to go to New England for Lobster Fest, but as it is now, there might as well be walls on the state borders.

I'm not holding my breath. Although some will consider this to be non sequitur, I expected Garcia Zarate to be convicted last week. There are no longer any slam dunks.

Apparently there's an attempt by R leadership to add some additional restrictions on purchasing to the bill.
