Sub moa or guaranteed moa 6.5 grendel build.

I'd like to build an "spr" upper.

    12" handguard
    Rifle length
    Adjustable* gas block
    Matching barrel and bc
    Decent stripped upper

How can I do this affordably?

An odin works setup is like 700...

I'd likw to do it for 400 ish...

    Anyone have any ideas?

Why an adjustable gas block? Do you need this? The barrels and matched bold start at about $250. So even with super cheap parts will be a challenge. Good Shooting, MOOSE

Yes the Odin Works will do this easy. I am using Odin Works for all my Grendel Builds now. They are Grendel Kings IMHO. Their matching barrel, BCG and adjustable gas block are a killer combo for the money. You won't find a good sub MOA barrel to get everything for $400. Spend the bucks on the Odin Works.

If you want to guarantee cycling you should have an adjustable gas block. You don't need an expensive one as you will mostly likely just adjust it and leave it.

I do not have a adjustable gas block and my rifle never misses a beat. No need for a adjustable gas block. We are not trying to go supersonic and subsonic. Good Safe Shooting, MOOSE

The adjustable gas block is a personal preference.

I enjoy the ability to compensate effectively by putting as much gas as I possibly can down the barrel while minimizing recoil.

Dan, Odin works is it huh?

I guess I got to put the scratch out then looks like I'm going to be somewhere around 6 or 700. Is that the best I'm going to get?

Not the best but the best for your money. Great setup, accurate, and cycles perfect. Dan is right on.

Agree. It's a good shooting upper for under $700. You can spend much more and not be more accurate. Everything I get from Odin Works is top notch. You wont be sorry. My 12.5" SBR is all Odin Works and like I said I took it all the way to 1000 yards.

    Seems like 18"-20" is best.

I'm leaning 20" but 18" feels better in my heart... Feels...
