So there is a minimum twist in the definition of rifling?
That is something their lawyers must have seen. I am not a lawyer so I have no damn clue lol.

so a 55/62/72gr .22 projectile that keyholes like nobody's business and can't shoot straight more than a few yards?
I mean, up real real close it would probably work fine. but it's not going to be much use for target, plinking, competition, hunting/survival , or just about anything else.

I don't know about this definition of "rifling" that he is hanging his hat on, it sounds to be a stretch to me, and even though he says it, the binary trigger fires the rifle twice for a single PULL of the trigger, but not when the trigger is pulled. That takes it out of MG restrictions, and would also, possibly, make it not a rifle. I guess we will just have to wait and see.
I do know that he doesn't know his butt hole from a bean pot when it comes to shooting a muzzle loading smooth bore.
If the shooter knows how to load, every single shot comes out like a knuckle ball! The only time it will act like a curve ball is when there is a defect of a gas bubble in the ball itself and it is not balanced. When that happens the ball will start on a random spin, which can make it do anything except climb.

if i had infinite money and time, I'd check different lengths/riflings/weights on gel. I'm just not sure a light bullet that loses a lot of speed due to tumbling would make that big of a cavity if it hits sideways. maybe? my point is that we know how bullets work well, and if the big deal about the reformation is that it has straight rifling... i'd rather just build pistols or pay for even more tax stamps.
