Have a LNIB S&W 627-5 PC. Wondering what it may be worth & possibly when it was made.
Has aftermarket grips & a fiber optic front sight.

Wish I could afford it right now. I have pretty much already spent my 2018 gun budget.

You didn't say if you have the original aluminum carrying case, moonclips, and paperwork, etc. If so, I would think $900+. I've had 3 of them I used in competition. Still have 2 I need to get rid of, and they all came with those grips. The one I have with the same barrel configuration as yours was made in the 2003. Mine says Performance Center on the left side and "357 Mag. 8 Times" on the right side of the barrel.

I have the original cardboard box, A soft side black nylon Performance Center case, moon clips, black rubber grips, manual.
Gun was unfired when I got it. 50 rounds or so fired.
They are 1K+ on line. god knows what a LGS would ask.
Gonna put it on Armslist for $1,000 & see how it goes.

It was introduced in 1997.

Don't know how the serial #'s of S&W revolvers run, but mine has 7 characters. 3 letters followed by 3404. Would think that would put it in pretty early production.
It is a beautiful gun & I don't really NEED to sell it, just thought it may be something someone would be looking for. But since it is still in production, it's value has diminished instead of increased.
Bottom line is, it's not as special as I thought it was. Guess for now it's just a like new used gun.
