Remember, these are the same folks that insist on charging CPL holders for keeping their fingerprints in the criminal database. I wonder if they take those fingerprints out of AFIS when you stop paying to keep them there.

Would that exempt CPL to CPL holders from making a sale to each other?
Would above then have to be transferred/fee paid to an FFL?
On the surface $150 for a lifetime sounds good to me,waiting to get the details. I like the smoothness of no background check as it is now ,but to potentially save $3,4,500 in a lifetime I'd spend the extra few minutes and a paperwork.

I thought the CPL was statewide, and you could move anywhere in the state, without changing a thing on your CPL.

Apparently you'all aren't familiar with govt contracts. Make it 8.5M and the contract is yours.

This has no language that would alter how a CPL holder makes a purchase in a private transaction.

There is nothing in this bill that would have any affect on that.

The $150 will actually be $165, and it will only be available to someone who is renewing a CPL.

It IS a State license! Yet, the county Clerk maintains the records and is responsible for all of the notifications to CPL holders in their county. If you move to a different county, you don't HAVE to do anything, but your renewal notice will go to your old address if you don't tell them about it. AND you will have to go to the Clerk of your NEW county when it comes time to renew your license.

It doesn't…unless it is an initial license ($15 for fingerprinting).

Section 5o is the list of no-concealed carry places. All of the language that you are referencing is unchanged from the current law.
