    For my gen 3s just putting in a "." connector has been all that's necessary for a very good trigger. That will very gun to gun , but that's been all I've needed with maybe a little polishing. I still have that little bit of take up but then it's a real crisp reasonably light break after that, and you have don't have the take up when you're firing additional shots from reset. I personally wouldn't do a thing more than the dot connector first to see how that works in any gen 3. Gen 4 is a little different story.
